There are many : 2 places for French cooking if you are homesick ; one for merrymaking ; one for your body's rest -you will feel the need for it... Also an hotel. And last of all an address to avoid at all costs!

One of the few bars without hostesses or sex : the "radio city" where you can listen to rock bands. The last time I visited it, I was offered an exciting revival of the blues brothers : it was really exciting!..

There is a warm atmosphere, it is cheap, you enyoy air conditioning, bathroom,
and TV with a French channel.
Beware! an address to avoid : the Star Hotel in the kasemsan soi : windows falling apart on opening them, bare wires behind the bed with the risk of getting an electrical shock, and worst of all the hotel keeper who called for two policemen to force me to pay for the accomodation in his dilapidated hotel. I had to resort to the French Embassy.
